A call to volunteer as Dhamma Information Server!

Global Vipassana Pagoda has emerged as a magnificent monument and one of the most important attractions for an average tourist. Today, over a thousand visitors come to the Pagoda on a week day and the number shoots up to over three thousand on weekends and holidays.

We regularly conduct 30 minute Anapana courses at North Pagoda for visitors where dhammasevaks are required to play the recording and facilitate the courses for visitors.

We urgently need dhammasevaks to act as information servers to provide these visitors with an inspiring experience of the Pagoda as also to help connect a casual visitor with the Vipassana - the biggest gift of life.

Responsibilities of the dhamma information sevak would include coming to the Pagoda at least one day (6 Hours) a month and disseminating information about the Pagoda, Anapana & Vipassana. Also facilitating the 30 minute Anapana Courses inside the North Pagoda.

Training and source material will be provided to all the volunteers and they would have a unique opportunity to serve & develop in Dhamma in the presence of the sacred relics of the Buddha with guidance from Teachers & established Dhamma seniors as also professionals.

The criteria for selection would be residence in Mumbai, a pleasant disposition, good communication skills and a strong volition to serve Dhamma. Food & travel reimbursement shall be provided.
